Flag – Banda Municipal de Câmara de Lobos

Built in the centenary of the institution, the flag of yellow cloth and golden edge, with its colors [of the coat of arms] of the city, takes to the center the golden lyre of four strings, flanked by pink flowers that, according to the characteristics visible, resemble the poppies. To the center of the lira, the coat of arms of the municipality, constituted by an anchor [gold] between “two sea lions of their color faced, put in pala”, surmounted by silver mural crown of four towers – that represents municipality with headquarters in village. In circular form, around the lyre, two inscriptions, in black: above, the official denomination “Banda Municipal de Câmara de Lobos”; underneath the etimo that identifies it: “Recreio dos Lavradores”. In the base, to right, in black color, the date of foundation: “Founded – 18-11-1872”.
