Heraldry
The Banda Municipal da Ponta do Sol takes as its emblem the white lira flanked by two palms, united at the base by a red ribbon under a figure of the sun (which is the central pictorial figure of the coat of arms of the municipality), inscribed in a tone shield black; in chief, white mural crown of four towers – that identifies municipality with seat in village; in counterhefe, white listel with denomination, in black, “Banda Municipal da Ponta do Sol”.
