The Banda Paroquial de São Lourenço da Camacha took to its headquarters, for obvious reasons, several spaces of the old Parish House of the Church of Camacha, having functioned since the foundation in the garage of that property, having, since the mid-1990s, several rooms for the regular functioning of the collectivity. Once the space was awarded by the diocese of Funchal and financed by the protocol building between the Municipality of Santa Cruz and the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs (DRAC), the Banda Paroquial de São Lourenço da Camacha was finally endowed with a December 2001 by the then President of the Regional Government, Dr. Alberto João Jardim. The building of the community is thus presently configured: rehearsal room on the ground floor and office, classrooms and storage room on the first floor.
