Photographic Records

The Philharmonic Bands are part of Madeiran regional cultural history and the longevity of each band has been recorded over the years also through photographs. Given the scarce possibility of photographic records at the time most philharmonic bands appeared, each photograph that represents the history of each band is a historical landmark. In this space we can find photographic records that captured moments, presences, performances and meetings that marked the chronology of the band. Here we can also remember and honor the musicians and elements of the bands, which represented the entire history of the band, from its origin until now.
