This piece of museum is a painting offered by a benefactor, friend and associate of this collectivity, the center includes the logo of the band, and around it, two musical sheet. The offer of this board was to be auctioned to raise money for the band. The management decided not to auction the painting by staying with it and exposing it at headquarters.

Change the Name – Banda Recreio Camponês
Changing the name of a philharmonic band is always an important milestone. Not always over the life of a band are there name changes. Usually it happens through a company designation or by another superior entity. In many of the cases the band acquires the denomination of Municipal being the, main band of the county. In some cases such as the Banda Municipal de Machico or the Banda Distrital do Funchal, had their first name obtained by royal charter.

Bandstand
The object we see in the image is a trophy that was offered to the Banda Municipal do Funchal that participated in the Festival of Philharmonic Bands held in Ponta do Sol. This event is organized by the Banda Municipal da Ponta do Sol since 2001. This object is a replica of a bandstand that existed before, and where the bands perform their performances.

Painting – Grupo Musical de Nossa Senhora de Fátima
A watercolor on paper by Silvano Abreu Cardoso founder and conductor of the same band. It is framed with a photograph of the foundation of the Banda do Arco de São Jorge. The religiosity of its president is well evident in this image, in homage to the Blessed Virgin of Our Lady of Fátima. The Band is consecrated and delivered to the care of Our Lady of Fátima, patron of the group.
